The Broker - The Short Version
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It means the founder has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
The instrument list: FX, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, the breadth is not narrow.
The Software
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you know MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should round things out when it lands.
What You Pay
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
This is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. The point is the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.
Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms at this price point offer execution like this.
Regulation
Now, the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Scam brokers do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. That does not guarantee anything. It should be part of how you think about it.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that works depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade runs a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical deposit match. You deposit, they top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you commit.
